Many moons ago I bought two stitch and glue sea kayak plans and built both designs in marine plywood. The first a hard chine model, the second a multichine model. The effort launched me on a path I padlle to this day.

Today I help folks with custom design and building of Fine Wood Watecraft. If you seek something a little different than what is currently available on the market or you and you can't find what you want else where give me a call.

Stock and custom kayak stitch and glue plans are available now. These plans are from design assignments prepared for various clients over the years. As time permits I will expand the design profiles online.

There are a number of plans available on the market offered by various companies. If you like a design already on the market in plan or kit form but lack the tools, space, dexterity or desire to become a boat builder, allow me build it for you. I can build any of those to suit or custom design a kayak for your unique needs.

Strong Durable Finish for Years of Carefree Use

 

 

 

 

 

You won't need to varnish these boats. I typically use an acrylic Urethane finish in clear or paint. If you prefer varnish, I'll can finish your boat with varnish. Several of my kayaks finished this way still look beautiful and haven't needed varnishing once.
