Canoe Paddle Plans
Following are a few thoughts on paddle making and some plans. A cavaet being these are rather generic plans.

After all the time and work involved in builing a boat I find it difficult to rationalize the effort to hand build a paddle as there are so many decent paddles on the market. I don't have a preference but I can offer you a suggestion, determine the right length for you, then buy the lightest one you can afford. No matter what you spend, if you put any reasonable value on your time you will still be ahead on a purchased paddle.
